You’re always in control. You’ve set an approved reserve. If the bids don’t reach the reserve, the car does not sell. You can modify your reserve at any point during the live auction. If the car does not sell, you can relist it, for free, to run the next day with an adjusted reserve.
Your reserve is the minimum number the bidding needs to reach in order for the car to sell. The reserve is only visible to you and you can modify it at any time. Your desired reserve will be assessed by BTT during your listing process to ensure it falls within the wholesale market range. This ensures there will be interest by dealers and competitive bids during your auction.
Submitting your vehicle typically takes 5-10 minutes if you have all the details handy. BTT reviews your submission immediately and will reach out with any additional required information. All completed submissions go live every weekday at 1pm EST and last for 4 hours (ending at 5pm).
